Trusting the Process

It is the middle of week two of NaNoWriMo.  I have experienced a bit of that block that 'they' say can come in week two.  But I have been pushing through.  And there are elements in my story that are painful.  But I am also grateful to be exploring them.  Because I had asked for healing.  And I feel that this is part of that.  And when I'm in flow, coming back to the real world is a bit hard. And I'm left with so much of my characters.  But this is how it should be.  I have to trust the process.  I have to trust that this is God ordained.  And I am grateful that I am not going it alone.  And I am grateful that He meets me where I am.

  1. It has been a goal of mine to participate in this project. I feel right now our lives are so chaotic with all the lessons we have that take us out of the house, I would not have the time to devote to daily writing. I hope you work through your block and your creative energy carries you through.

  2. Thank you for linking up with Three Thinking Mothers! I am participating in NaNoWriMo too and I have to say, I started out really excited about the whole thing and the last few days it's like drudgery! I think it's like the mid-week hump...I keep thinking, "Whose idea was it to do this the month of Thanksgiving? The month before Christmas?" But then I realize that it is important to find time for ourselves to get into our own heads a little this time of year!

Good luck! I can't wait to hear more about your progress!

  4. I am happy to read you keep going, even if it's painful sometime and you feel you carry much with you.
Wishing you all the best with the project Nicole, it's definitely a challenge but I am sure it will take you somewhere.
    Take care.
