So the bad comes
and then the pain comes
because it's cyclical like that.
And I wish it wasn't
but I know
 that the physical pain
will bring me to my knees
more than the emotional
 because I've been hardened
and jaded
so, hungry for my weakness
so that He might give me strength,
He allows me to fall, unable to move,
with no recourse but prayer
 where I can find gratitude

  1. I am sorry you are pained - it is never 'fun' to be there, but I hope that in your pain, God's love and power will comfort you. He is strong and will give you what you need, even when you cannot move.
